Ranked rules (Oct 25 update)
- Unlock: player Level 5.
- Players only — no bots in ranked.
- Placements: your first 5 games can match anyone. Winning one moves you to your opponent’s ELO.
- Matching: within 100 ELO. Battle Power no longer affects ELO.
- After losing to someone, you can’t be matched with them again until you’ve played 5 more ranked games.
- The Top 5 are only matched with each other.
- You can challenge a player to a 1v1 ranked match, and there’s a Queue Again button after each game.
ELO gains and losses
| Result | vs higher-rated | at even ELO | vs lower-rated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Win | up to +40 | +20 | down to +10 |
| Loss | −8 | −20 | −30 |
- Close wins (3-2, 4-2) give more, plus 1 per perfect play (up to +6).
- Leaving early: quitting or forfeiting costs 10 ELO on top of the normal loss.
So climbing is fastest by beating higher-rated players, and losing to a lower-rated player is the most expensive mistake.
Rewards
- 1 Spin Ticket for every ranked win.
- BP, Spin Tickets and exclusive cosmetics the first time you reach each tier in a season.
- Ranked pays full BP and XP (bots pay half in other modes).
Team ranked and clubs
- 2v2 and 3v3 ranked exist; if a team queue doesn’t fill within a minute, queued bladers are split into two teams (at least one real player each) and bots fill the gaps. In Park battles, 3v3 is played as a relay of 1v1s.
- Clubs cost 15k to create, hold up to 10 members, and have their own club ELO and leaderboard.
Tips
- Use Rui’s Training to practise a matchup before queueing — it costs nothing (and pays nothing).
- Learn Brace timing and clash spam: winning a clash at the rails gives a 25% ring-out chance.
- Check the tier list — Beys get buffed and nerfed every few days.
